Proofing

Proofing papers are those intended for carrying out color proofs before printing. This type of paper requires Fogra certification either 39, 51 or 52. Fogra is a standardized color profile.

In our range you will find 4 different semi matte proofing papers from Mitsubishi. Two of them are Fogra 39 certified and two more are Fogra 51 certified.

Fogra’s name comes from the German graphic research institution of the same name. In 2006 this institution created the Fogra 39 profile, which is more useful when working with coated paper or couché paper.

The fogra 51 is also a profile of this institution for 4-color offset printing. Working with this profile ensures that colors are reproduced accurately.
